    I can’t believe we are already five weeks into our show! The response from our listeners is overwhelming. We couldn’t be more pleased. Many of you have emailed or called to let us know your thoughts about the show and even to suggest potential topics. Thank you so much! We are trying to provide diverse guests to accommodate all of our listeners, and so far, everybody loves them!! We will keep all of your topics in mind as our show is typically booked a month or two in advance. But, please keep your topics coming!

    This week, we have an amazing women, speaker, and artist, Michelle Gressel with The Torn Edge. Michelle is on a journey to live an authentic, broken, purposeful life. What does this mean? You won’t want to miss this week’s show to find out. It will be very interesting . . . she believes that when you take the torn edges of your life and arrange them, your life will be something beautiful. You can hear personally how her life has changed dramatically.

    As a reminder, we will be at Johnny’s at the Kansas City Power & Light this Thursday starting at 11:00 a.m. before our show handing out promotional items during the Big 12 tournament. We would love for you to stop in and see us. It makes our show worthwhile to meet you, our listeners. Thanks again for all of the positive feedback!!

    As a preview for next week’s show — we have Bob Thurman, a self-defense expert to give some tips on following simple rules of awareness. The story Bob has to tell is one that you will least expect. Make sure to tune in for next week’s show one on March 15th!!

It is ok to ask God the questions, but it is so important for you to find some stillness in your life to hear the answer that he will provie. The key ingredient in finding stillness is in being faithful and obedient. This video left both Bret and myself at a loss for words and vulnerable. We realized quickly that this video was just as much about our own personal journey as future viewers. He sent me a text later that night that put it all into perspective…”My vulnerability equals others freedom.” I am ok with this journey of sharing my vulnerability because it might create freedom for someone else.
    Blessed by this project forever! I feel authentic freedom from letting go…this beautiful moment was created from being faithful and obedient..

    What happens when the creative minds of The Torn Edge & The Studio 56 collide?

    An organic and creative explosion occurs within our hearts.

    As a child, our hearts are whole and perfect, but through life experiences, hearts get broken, torn, and distressed. As we begin our journey today, our candy bar was whole and perfect. The pounding and breaking symbolize our life experiences that leave pieces scattered everywhere. We have many imperfect pieces of our hearts and when we were arrange the pieces back together to make whole again, they create something beautiful and purposeful .
    Even though it is in pieces, the heart is now whole and connected.

    Every heart is WORTHY of authentic, meaningful love!
